Honors Art Major 3 recently visited the Gatehouse Studio and gallery of Sister Helen Brancato, IHM.
Her assistant, Joan Hutton guided them through the gallery featuring an impressive collection of paintings, prints, and illustrations conveying themes of social justice, peace and homelessness.
Ms. Hutton explained Sister Helen's process and discussed ongoing work of several current commissions. Sister Helen's prolific body of figurative work impressed upon them the passion that has fueled her to continually convey a message to uplift those less fortunate.
