National Merit Program
Each year, the National Merit Scholarship Program offers college tuition assistance to high-performing seniors. More than 1.6 million students are eligible for the program each year, with only 50,000 of these students earning Commended status.

National African American Recognition Program
The College Board National African American Recognition Program Scholars celebrates the academic achievements of students from the African American and Black communities. Students are evaluated based on their PSAT/NMSQT test scores, and their academic record is also considered.

National Hispanic Recognition Program
The College Board National Hispanic Recognition Program celebrates the academic achievements of students from the Hispanic and Latinx communities. Students are evaluated based on their PSAT/NMSQT test scores, and their academic record through their junior year is also considered.
