MMA has graduated incredible women over the years who are doing amazing things in their careers. This year, Merion Mercy has launched Lunch & Learn sessions to further connect our alumnae community with current students. Lunch & Learn is a time for students to learn from recent MMA graduates who will share their stories and answer questions about their career paths. Our most-recent alum guest was Dr. Kaitlyn Kennard '08–she was a huge hit with students!
Kaitlyn Kennard completed recently completed General Surgery training at Lankenau Medical Center. She is currently pursuing a year of research on a Sharpe Strumia Grant looking at Metabolic Syndrome and Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She is also running a prospective trial looking at ways to decrease narcotic use in Breast Surgery Patients. Upon completion of this year, she will pursue a Breast Oncology Fellowship.
