Dr. Teresa Nance, Ph.D. Associate Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion at Villanova University along with 11 Villanova faculty members led our students, faculty, and staff in a program designed to introduce us as a community to a method of effective intergroup dialogue.
The program entitled "Responding to Everyday Bias with Dialogue" included a community-wide presentation in the gym followed by separate student, faculty, and staff break out sessions.
"Diversity, equity and inclusion are important components of everyday life at Merion Mercy and are critical to our mission, said Laura Farrell, Head of School. "Our aim is to foster a culture where every member of our community feels valued, supported, understood and inspired. The work we do now will impact our school, our local neighborhoods, and our world."
