Eight MMA students competed in the 14-hour Moody's Mega Math Challenge. They provided mathematical models to real-world, unsolved problems facing the National Park Service, such as sea level change and climate vulnerability scoring. They also presented their findings today to the math department and will soon hear of their ranking in the competition.
